Conference 2026- Entanglements
The third biennial CASIM conference will be held at Queen’s University School of Religion, in Kingston, Ontario in May 1st and 2nd. The conference theme is “Entanglements”. In a time of tension, genocide, and pervasive challenges, entanglements gestures to our knotted times, contexts, and realities be it within relationships, communities, institutions and/or society writ large. During such moments, how do we unravel and suture, or perhaps even further entangle ourselves, as we study Islam and Muslims?
